But I have a recent pic of Sequoia I thought I would share with the beach community.

Here is the news about the coming season at Salisbury. Present plans have Ricki there from July 6 thru August 1. We arrive on August 2 and stay thru August 23. Grandma plans to be there for the season.
For those who might be interested in renting the upstairs for a week or part of one, my reading of the calendar, with a late labor day, suggests that the open weeks would be the first week (June 27 or 28 thru July 5) and the last two weeks of the season, which go into September. Ricki's friends may be interested in the very last week, as they have been in other years. Also, Ricki is flexible about the last week in her stay, at the end of July, if someone is interested in the upstairs that week.
We are interested in company as usual, as is grandma. We will start to build the reservation list as soon as people know when they might be able to come. Start envisioning sunny days (not too hot) and warm water with just the right size waves.

Talked to Mary
(I posted this also as a response to Will)
I called Mary today. She said that if they ever consider selling she will let me know and give us first choice.
Before I reached Mary I talked to Mark, who was interested in talking about "the old days" and sounded postively nostalgic. So maybe he is more positive about continuing to own (and rent to us) than we had thought.

following up
Eli and I got a lot of talking in during our over-lapping visits to the beach. Great to have time you Big E (a.k.a. the younger Eli, EKO, the elder twin, etc).
To follow up with everyone on one conversation Eli and I had, it seems worth while to approach Mary (?), asking for first right of refusal in the event she or her family decide to divest themselves of the beach property. It would be a shame if we (whomever "we" are) did not at least have the opportunity to consider purchasing the cottage should that option exist.
Food for thought...
